Using Megabrowser as Internet BrowserSurfing the Internet using Megabrowser
is much more convenient then ever. Megabrowser
is loaded with features and benefits designed to make your Internet journey very
pleasant and efficient. MegaBrowser utilizes Microsoft’s Internet Explorer engine. Don’t worry, Megabrowser will not change your current Internet Explorer installation or alter how your existing Internet Explorer currently works. Megabrowser has the same buttons as most other Internet browsers and will utilize your existing Internet Explorer Favorites. Its user interface is very intuitive and you will find that many of the standard browser features like Stop, Refresh, etc. are probably similar to the browser you are currently used too using. What you will see are a lot of unique additional functions that make Megabrowser stand apart from many other browsers. Below are many of the unique functions, which are patent pending. Tab Display ConsolesFor convenience, all browser views are organized using tabs. All browser views are accessible with one click on the corresponding browser view tab at the top of the main browser window. We call these tabs “Consoles” (fig.2). You can close any browser tab display console very quickly. To close a tab display console make sure that browser tab is selected. Then click the big black X icon on the far right side of the tab bar. You can open a new browser tab by clicking on the N. To close all tabs click on the brown X. Tab combinations can be saved in convenient Tabsets by name. Tabsets can be recalled at any time. To create a Tabset you may open as many tabs as you want and populate each tab with your favorite sites. Then you can select File --> Save Tabset from the Megabrowser menu and name your Tabset. The Tabset is then saved to your hard disk. To recall a Tabset, simply select File --> Open Tabset and select the desired Tabset by name. Your tab windows will immediately populate with the sites that were originally saved. Megabrowser's smart Tabset technology also keep track of the sites that are in your tab windows. When you open Megabrowser it will ask you if you want to open the last Tabset. If you say yes, Megabrowser will open the tabs that were open the last time you used it. This is very convenient as it helps you continue surfing without having to manually re-open the sites you were accessing previously. If you have traveled the Internet, you may have been annoyed by websites that open additional browser views automatically. We refer to these views as “pop-ups” because many times they contain pop-up advertisements or incentive offers that are triggered by a Java Script. If a site tries to automatically open a pop-up, Megabrowser can suppress such behavior and display a short message that asks you if you want the pop-up to be opened on a case-by-case basis. This behavior is controlled using the Display Consoles group in the Options submenu (fig. 4). Here is what each option does: Display Consoles – opens Java Script pop-ups without asking. Ask About Consoles – displays a message asking you if you want the Java Script pop-up to open. Hide All Consoles - suppresses all Java Script pop-ups without asking. Figure 4. Options submenu
Any additional feature bars can be displayed or closed by selecting the corresponding item in the View submenu of the main menu. When you use Megabrowser as an Internet browser the Fetch bar and the History bar will be of use to you. Fetch BarThe Fetch bar (fig 5.) allows you to examine all links of some web resource in list or tree format. To present it in the most convenient way the Fetch bar organizes all selected links by various criteria. You can view by hosts, titles, and file extensions. Figure 5. Fetch bar.
To use it:
A tree will appear in the Fetch bar and you will be able to look through all links of the resource grouped by hosts, by titles, or by extension. The latter is the most interesting since you can instantly select all links to movies or songs concealed in the page. History Bar The History bar is similar to the History bar of Microsoft Internet Explorer and makes possible to see all resources you visited recently. To use it:
Search Bar MegaBrowser contains a powerful Internet search tool called the “Search Bar.” The Search Bar enables you to quickly find information, sites, and files on the Internet quickly and efficiently. The Search Bar is accessible with one click. To use Megabrowser Search bar
